Police investigate bomb threats at local businesses

KERRVILLE, Texas (HCBN)- Two of Kerrville’s businesses have received bomb threats in the past few days. These threats came with this week’s rise of bomb threats throughout the United States.

The Kerrville Police Department said that one business in the 500 block of Main Street received a bomb threat on December 13. The threat came via email from an unknown sender. The business’s employees were evacuated, follow by a call to police. Upon checking the area, no suspicious activity or packages were discovered.

The second bomb threat happen in the 400 block of Main Street on December 18. KPD reports, “A male called [the local business] and said he was going to blow the place up.”

The employees were evacuated and the business closed for the evening due to the worried employees. This threat is currently under investigation by the Kerrville Police Department.
